Why is BirdDog expensive?

BirdDog is a scalable transformation to your sales process, making sure that prospecting & touch points are fueled by real world, relevant information.

Most of our clients sell products or services with high enough sticker prices that if even one rep can attribute one deal to BirdDog, the entire annual subscriptions pays for itself. The beauty is that it won't be just one rep using the system--BirdDog enables entire teams to easily leverage our data across the process.

So, when you look at it this way, BirdDog costs a fraction of the value it provides.

Do I already need to have an account list to use BirdDog?

No, you do not need to have a full account list to use BirdDog. While many of our users come with an account list ready, some do not. As long as you have either 30-50 example accounts or a good idea of what you’re looking for, BirdDog can help you find accounts in your ICP.

Can I send messages from BirdDog?

No, you cannot send any messaging (email, text, social dm, etc) directly from the BirdDog platform.

Still, BirdDog makes it easy to take actions by suggesting potential decision makers, one click email generation, and a general flow of high quality insights. On top of that, if you use BirdDog to track the actions you are taking, BirdDog will remind you when you haven't contacted an account in a while.

How can I trust your data?

All of our data is primary and secondary sources that are cited & clearly visible with each answer. This make spot checks easy. Additionally, since no data set is perfect, we transparently associate a probability score with each answer. If data quality is a major concern for you, please contact us & we will share further documentation—typically, though, a sample of our data is more than sufficient to ease nerves.

Why don’t I just use Google / GPT / Perplexity etc?

While some reps have sales research processes that work for them, they are typically time consuming, involve disjoint tools, are error prone, and do not scale across an organization. BirdDog’s purpose built models & algorithms are specifically designed to find the info that sales teams need to drive revenue, and the workflows are simple and scalable across your team.

How long does BirdDog take to implement?

The BirdDog system can be set up to actively monitoring your account list in under 30 minutes. In terms of training & onboarding, we can have the entire team up to full utilization of the platform by the end of the first quarter, often sooner.

Is BirdDog Intent Data?

No, BirdDog is not comparable to “Intent Data.” Our signals & account scoring are based on real world events that you can refer to in sales calls. This way, you’re attaching your pitch to organizational initiatives rather than guessing if who you’re talking to actually cares about what you are saying.
